I would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding earlier today when we were forced to temporarily close the school. United Utilities has addressed the issue and we have running water and fully functioning toilets so we will be open as usual tomorrow. I appreciate that we informed you at very short notice, but I want to reassure you that a parent mail did go out to parents and carers prior to us informing students and allowing them to leave the site. For those of you who did not pick it up in time, you may well have heard the huge cheer that went up from the school when the students were given the message from their teachers that they were being sent home, followed by a groan when they were told lessons would be conducted via Teams in the afternoon. Once again, thank you all for your support and understanding.
