Alsager Sixth Form is proud of the achievements of its students. Consistently over 50% of A level grades are A* – B and the pass rate is outstanding. We aim to provide excellent support, care and facilities for our students which will allow them to flourish and realise their potential.
Our Sixth Form Study Centre is a purpose built area exclusively for the use of Sixth Form students. We expect our students to achieve their very best and we endeavour to provide them with all of the learning tools and opportunities to help them do just that.

We welcome students who set the highest standards for themselves both in and out of the classroom. Our academic and wider curriculum provide opportunities for students to grow, ensuring they not only achieve outstanding qualifications but develop the personal skills and experiences that allow them to flourish when leaving the sixth form. At the start of their journey each student will be interviewed to determine the subjects and qualifications that are best suited to fulfil their career aspirations. Students will select from an extensive range of academic and vocational courses including GCSE resits and work experience via our Traineeship. Students have a dedicated Common Room and Work Area as well the use of the Learning Resources Centre with its own Sixth Form resources and study facilities.
The Purcell building houses our Sixth Form College. It is named after a popular former Chair of Governors and Deputy Headteacher.
The modern canteen has a Sixth Form coffee area serving breakfast as well as drinks and snacks during the day. Students also make use of the outstanding main school and Leisure Centre facilities.
The Performing Arts Centre houses a drama studio, music practise rooms and music technology suite. The adjacent Leisure Centre has excellent sports facilities including astro-turf, sports hall, fitness suite and swimming pool. Sixth Form students are able to make use of these facilities.
