We said our official ‘goodbyes’ this afternoon to our Y11 students as many of the class of 2021 had completed their final assessment. We wish our fantastic year 11 cohort the very best and much happiness for the future. We hope to see many of them again next year in our 6th form and indeed on June 14th for our transition programme. It has been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to work with them over the last five years. The past two years have brought many unique challenges for our students and they have shown extreme resilience in how they have managed themselves. They should take some time to reflect on what they have achieved and feel very proud of themselves. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for some good weather so that they can now fully relax and throw themselves into the list of household chores I am sure you have lined up for them.
Results of the Teacher Assessed Grades for Y11 students will be available on Thursday 12thAugust. More details will be shared by Miss Jardine so please do keep accessing your emails, our social media and website for information.
Details of the transition programme were shared last week. If you have not received them, please contact the sixth form team on: firstname.lastname@example.org. Attendance is not compulsory but it will provide the perfect opportunity to develop skills necessary for chosen courses, experience sixth form lessons and get a flavour of life post 16 at A6.
On behalf of all staff and governors, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents and carers for your support over the past 5 years. It is wonderful to be part of such a supportive community.
