You will be aware that there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the school. I have liaised with Public Health England and would like to thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we deal with this.
We know that you may find this concerning, but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England and are following their advice. This letter is to inform you of the current situation and provide advice on how to support your child. Please be reassured that for most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild illness.
We currently require all Y11 students to remain at home and self-isolate, until further notice. The self-isolation period will last until Monday 19th October, unless you are informed otherwise, by the school. Other members of your household can continue normal activities provided your child does not develop symptoms within the 14-day isolation period.
All lessons for Y11 will be live lessons via Teams, until further notice. Mr Pearce, Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for teaching and learning, will email all Y11 students with details.
The school remains open for all other year groups.
