Following further information received from the exam boards yesterday, I can confirm that the grade students will receive on Thursday will be a ‘moderated grade’, which will either match or be higher than the centre assessed grade. Exam boards have reviewed the centre assessed grades and the grades that they changed and have awarded the higher grade. For example, if the centre assessed grade was a 7 and the exam board moved it to an 8, the grade will be an 8. If the exam board had originally move that to a 6, they would receive a 7.
A reminder that you are not able to appeal your grades.
