United Utilities Water Issues – School Closure
Unfortunately, there is an issue in the area affecting the water supply and as a result we have no running water in school. After speaking with United Utilities, this will not be rectified shortly so is an emergency concern and as a result we are having to close the school with immediate effect.
All exams will continue as normal but students in other year groups will be sent home. If your child is reliant on a bus, we are in the process of contacting the bus companies, but they will be able to stay in the canteen with a member of staff present while they wait. We will allow students to use their mobile phones so they may contact you and you them, in order to arrange collection.
