Good afternoon
In line with the election timetable for the above, and the close of nominations for the two parent governor vacancies, I am pleased to announce that the following parents have been successfully elected to join our governing body.
- Mr David Dunne (Year 9 parent)
- Mr Stephen Bailey (Year 9 & Year 11 parent)
As the number of nominations received matched the number of vacancies, no ballot was required and both candidates have been elected unopposed. Their terms of office will run from 7 November 2025 to 6 November 2029. We look forward to the valuable perspectives and contributions they will bring to the board.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Andrew Pilbury, our outgoing parent governor, for his valuable service and contributions during his time on the Governing Board. His commitment and support have been greatly appreciated by the board. We are also pleased to share that Mrs Anna Wheaver, whose term as a parent governor ends on 7 November will continue her involvement with the Governing Board in the role of community governor and joint Chair of Governors. We are delighted to be retaining her experience and expertise.
