On Thursday 20th October between 4.30-6.30pm the Progress team have the great pleasure of running a “Prepare to perform” evening for both parents/guardians and students.
This has always been well attended in previous years and feedback has been positive. It is a fantastic opportunity for both you and our students to ask questions, take part in activities, gain advice from staff and sixth form pupils about the up-and-coming exam period.
The event will be across multiple rooms, where a variety of interactive events will be taking place. You will have support to create a revision timetable, learn how to create effective revision notes, learn how to use and access online platforms. Additional to this you will be able to take part in home exercise, sample our smoothie ideas, learn about healthy eating, and engage in mindfulness.
This will start at 4.30pm and be running until 6.30pm. There is no expectation to stay for the full 2 hours, it is a drop in evening, where students will be given a revision pack on entry to support them in their preparation for their mock exams.
