Year 9 HAL students recently visited Nottingham University to take part in the regional ‘Up for Debate’ competition. The effort they put in to the prepared and impromptu motions were fantastic and their hard work paid off! They displayed high level debating skills but also brilliant SPIRIT values throughout the day. Miss Ahmed said: “It was a great experience, for both students and staff. We can’t wait to attend next year and get further in the competition”.
