A turf cutting ceremony was held at school to formally celebrate the start of the building works, pictured are Mr Purcell (Chair of Governors), Miss Durose (School Business Manager) and Mr Harris (Estates Manager). We have received funding from the Local Authority to build a two storey classroom block and a single storey dining hall extension.
The works are being carried out by Read Construction Holdings and completion is due August 2019. In addition the school converted a dining area into science laboratories in the summer of 2018. The expansion will allow the admission of an additional 30 students per year over the next 5 years to support with the increase housing and demand for school places in and around Alsager.
