On Friday 5th April Moreton College held their Spring Fair in aid of the Alsager Foodbank. The Moreton College council members had organised the event along with their respective form groups with each form group organising a stall. There was anything from a ‘Lucky Dip’, cake stalls, chocolate fountain, ‘Lemonade Pong’ and the ever popular ‘Sponge the Teacher’.
Moreton College regularly supports the Alsager Foodbank at Christmas but the students chose this charity to benefit from the Spring Fair this year. Everyone was encouraged to bring in food to exchange for tokens to be ‘spent’ at the fair. Lots of food was brought in and will be directly donated to the Foodbank, but approximately £300 was also raised and will be used to buy more supplies for the foodbank.
