Our sixth form student leadership team were delighted to present a cheque to Headway for £700 which was raised at their fancy dress sponsored walk last year.
Andrea Hogan, Area Manager for Headway, came into school and spoke to all our sixth form students about Headway and what they do to help people that have suffered a brain injury.
Headway is a charity that we have supported and raised money for over the last few years. She showed the students quite a hard hitting video about a young man who had been attacked on a night out with his friends. This had resulted in him having a severe brain injury and showed how his life had drastically changed as a result of it.
