The theme for the #NAW2018 is ‘Apprenticeships Work’. Showcasing how apprenticeships work: National Apprenticeship Week (NAW 2018) will run from 5 to 9 March 2018.
Whether you are a parent or a student, you might want to know a little bit more about apprenticeships and what are the benefits of undertaking an apprenticeship. Throughout the week Alsager School will be organising a variety of events in school. These will include online apprenticeship workshops, where KS4 and 5 students have the opportunity to ask questions about apprenticeships. All year 10 students will be looking at apprenticeships as part of their SPIRIT lesson. Also Stoke College have invited several apprentices that work at the college to talk to Year 10 students about ‘a day in the life’ of an apprentice and what is involved.
