Year 10 & 11 Trip to Italy

49 year 10 and 11 students visited the Bay of Naples over Easter and had an amazing time in sunny Italy.

They climbed Mt Vesuvius, the largest volcano on the Italian mainland, ate homemade pizza in a lemon and olive mill, visited the large but shallow volcanic crater of Solfatara (land of sulfur), visited the famous site of Pompeii covered by a pyroclastic flow in AD79, the large Amphitheatre at Pozzuoli, went 40ft underground through the underground tunnels in Naples and visited the exclusive Isle of Capri.
