The Leaver’s Ball 2017 was, once again, a fabulous occasion at Cranage Hall with over 180 students and 32 staff joining to celebrate the peak of five years of learning, achievement and shared goals. The high level of attendance is testimony to the excellent relationships between students and staff at Alsager School and, whilst the majority will return to the school in September, it was only right to mark the end of GCSES with a very special event.
The outgoing Year 11 rose to the red carpet challenge like seasoned oscar nominees and stunned onlookers with their sophisticated frocks, glamorous bejewelled hairstyles and sharp suits. They emerged, at the venue, from every possible vehicle from Bentley to motorbike to articulated cab and the styles ranged from ‘Hollywood’ to ‘Vintage’ to demure prom princess; individuality always an Alsager School speciality!
It was a delight to see the students surprise us with their sense of fun and night rolled on with welcome drinks, a three course meal and dancing until midnight.
It was a pleasure to celebrate this key life milestone with such lovely young people in such a memorable way.
