Alsager School

Parent Voice

During each parents evening a team of school prefects led by the student voice co-ordinator seek out the views of our parents via the parental questionnaire. The questionnaires are a series of generic statements related to all aspects of the school, with an additional three questions for that particular year group e.g. for year 7 “I felt supported and informed by the school for the transition of my child”. Parents tick one of the response boxes from strongly agree, agree, don’t know, disagree and strongly disagree. The data is then analysed and where appropriate actions taken.
We take great notice of those views which are not so positive and we try to respond individually where possible to each of the comments suggesting improvement. These comments are usually resolved on the telephone, email or through face to face meetings when we endeavour to improve what we do as a result of your feedback.
Parent voice is an invaluable part of school improvement and we would like to thank you in advance for your support in this process.
